Dr. Hannah Spier, MD is a Norwegian-born psychiatrist and cognitive behavioural psychotherapist based in Zurich, Switzerland. She completed psychiatric residency training in Norway and Switzerland and holds a degree in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from the University of Zurich. She is the creator of the Substack publication and podcast Psychobabble (launched in 2022), where she offers clinical commentary critiquing modern therapy culture, diagnostic inflation, personality pathology, and cultural influences on mental health. Her writing has appeared in outlets including The American Spectator, Commentary Magazine, The Federalist, and Mad in America. She lives in Zurich with her husband and three children and practices privately as a psychiatrist.
