Janice Fiamengo earned her doctorate from the University of British Columbia in 1996; she retired in 2019 from her position as Professor of English at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. She is the author of The Woman’s Page: Journalism and Rhetoric in Early Canada (2008) as well as many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on women’s writing. In 2015, she began The Fiamengo File, a YouTube series and later Substack newsletter showcasing the dark side of feminism.
